Kathleen Dolan can`t wait to begin work on the Gazette, Rawlings, Oklahoma`s paper. On her first day, her car is hijacked, but handsome rancher Johnny Henry rides in to her rescue. As the two of them find themselves falling in love, a supposed pillar of the community plots to use Johnny to keep Kathleen from interfering in an illegal money-making scheme. But will the lovers be able to see through the vicious scheme? Or will the scoundrel drive them apart?
