Attempting to thwart their quest is the human noble Lord Darcia, who believes that he is the only one capable of finding paradise. But what is paradise, really? And who is worthy of it? The black-and-white art dramatically portrays both action and emotion. While the characters are quite good-looking, the artist avoids the over-cuteness common to many manga. Reproducing the original Japanese right-to-left reading orientation, the book also includes translation notes and some comments by the team responsible for creating the series.
